Okay, so our last post was all about family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations. But not all of us have children. And those of us that do have children may still want a night to ourselves (it is okay). So we at Kitchen Saver decided to write a New Year’s Eve post with a more grownup twist.
Without further adieu, here are our some of tasty New Year’s Eve Cocktail Recipes!
Bellini Recipe
This famous luxurious cocktail was invented at Harry’s Bar, Venice, in 1934.
Ingredients
White peach puree
1 bottle Prosecco or Champagne, chilled
Substitute sparkling juice or seltzer for a non-alcoholic cocktail
Directions
1. Place 1 tablespoon white peach puree into the bottom of a Champagne flute.
2. Fill the glass with Prosecco or Champagne.
3. Enjoy!
Leap Year Recipe
Although every year is not a leap year, we still think it will be okay if you have one or two Leap Years Cocktails this New Year’s Eve.
Ingredients
2 oz gin
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz Grand Marnier orange liqueur
1/4 oz lemon juice
Lemon twist for garnish
Directions
1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Stir well.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
5. Enjoy!
Midnight Martini Recipe
This sounds like the perfect cocktail to drink as the ball drops.
Ingredients
1/4 oz coffee liqueur
3 1/2 oz vodka or coffee vodka
Directions
1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Thoroughly stir.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Enjoy!
